Just Because You Can…

So I’ve used this mantra for years, in fact it was my first tattoo. Because I Can.

For many years, it’s served me well. It’s given me the strength to keep going, keep moving forward, striving for perfection, believing no one could do it better or faster than me, working long hours to get ahead in business & being dog- tired at the end of every single day. 

Well, I finally saw the errors of my ways, and unfortunately it took a cancer diagnosis to realize I needed to outsource & delegate as much as possible during treatment. 

Once I let go of the reins, even for a bit, it became so much easier to see that delegating and outsourcing was really healthy for my business and for me. I started with the small things and slowly learned to pick and choose which areas served me best in the delegation department. Seriously, I had done my own bookkeeping for 20+ years and when I finally turned that over it was like I had 10 extra hours in my week, and that was just one area I chose to outsource.

As the four of us have been working on getting this new exciting venture off the ground, we’ve definitely leaned into this model. I mean this is exactly what our business is about; turning over a part of your business so you can concentrate on other equally important things. 

In fact, stay tuned as we will be sharing some of the tools and companies we are using to outsource certain areas for our business.

So we applaud delegation, and making space for yourself to blossom in other areas.
